Mission Trip Site: Kenya
The least-popular site by distance, and a country that leads on conservation, renewables and tourism.

In light of upcoming mission trips, we're starting off with mission trip site Kenya. While one of the least-popular mission sites due to the geographical distance, here are some fun places within Kenya!
From the sweeping savannahs of the Maasai Mara to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya, Kenya is quite literally the epitome of homage to the animal kingdom. A paradise for adventurers and nature-lovers alike, Kenya is a country that leads the world by example, showcasing not only economic strength but also focusing heavily on wildlife conservation efforts, investment in renewable resources, and extensive work toward fostering a greener environment.
A global leader in energy efficiency, wildlife, and animal protection, Kenya, a developing nation located in East Africa, is a country that has been gaining increasing attention over the past decade.
Known for its diverse and scenic landscapes, lush wildlife, and unique natural attractions, Kenya attracted approximately 1.9 million tourists in 2023. This number has steadily increased, showing signs of Kenya's recovering economy and growth since the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, in 2024, Kenya had over 2.4 million tourist arrivals (a 14.6% increase compared to the previous year), and this number is only projected to grow in the near future.
These immersive and interactive experiences, combined with Kenya's commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainable, eco-friendly tourism, make the country not only a remarkable vacation spot but also a place to find solace, reconnect with Mother Nature, and discover inner peace. Whether you're seeking thrilling safaris, serene beaches, or authentic cultural experiences, Kenya is ready to welcome you to a journey you'll never forget.
